Our Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals classes are a roughly six month long curriculum that provide the foundation for training at our school. You will learn basic philosophies, movements, and techniques of jiu jitsu.
Students should expect to complete the fundamentals course with a healthy grasp of a variety of topics including elementary self-defense, positional escapes, and positional transitions as well as a handful of low-impact throws/takedowns, and submissions
Once you have completed the course you should feel well prepared to move into our higher level classes.
Those who are enrolled with a fundamentals membership to attend the fundamental classes can also attend the open mat (open mat / randori) following the fundamentals classes.
Presently we offer eight fundamentals classes every week.
Classes are taught in roughly one month long content blocks where every content block focuses on a particular position – mount, back, half guard, etc. You are able to schedule your first lesson for any of the fundamental classes we offer using the above button.
